Dear Port of Oakland Records Custodian,

This is a Public Records Act request.

Please provide me with the following records in possession of your agency which pertain to the Port's aviation division:

 

1. Any and all contracts for security products and services which include biometric capabilities (i.e. fingerprint scanning, facial recognition) that were approved by the Port administration and/or board within the past five years.

2. All contracts for products and services for the Port's video surveillance system within the past 5 years, including but not limited to contracts with vendors who provided hardware, installation, consulting, software, analytics. Please include documents sufficient to determine the exact nature of the contract and work that was furnished to the Port.

3. Any and all contracts with the company "IMAGIS," including documentation necessary to determine the exact products and services the Port purchased from Imagis.

4. Any and all contracts with the company "ServiceTec International," including documentation necessary to determine the exact products and services the Port purchased from ServiceTec.

We have released all of the requested documents.  Here is some additional context:

 

For request No. 1 (biometric), the Port has contracts with Telos ID and with the Vancouver Airport Authority for fingerprint collection at the Automatic Passport Control Kiosks in the international terminal.  For request No. 2 (video surveillance), the Port has a contract with Stanley Security Solutions.  For request No. 3 (IMAGIS), the Port does not have any contracts with that company.  For request No. 4 (ServiceTec), the Port has a contract with them for onsite support for aviation special systems.  ServiceTec does not provide any products to the Port.

Request for Cure & Correction: We hope this response is satisfactory to you.  If you believe the Port has failed to comply with the Public Records Act, you may submit a written Request for Cure and Correction to the Secretary of the Board.  This Request must be filed within 90 days of the alleged noncompliance.  The Office of the Port Attorney will investigate all Requests and respond within 30 days.  For further information, please refer to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section on the Port's Public Records webpage.
