Greetings,

I am writing in reference to a request for information, pertaining to your current Operations and Maintenance vendor for airport services that includes: airport baggage handling system and passenger boarding bridges maintenance and repair services. 

I am looking for all available documents relating to the current contract in place at OAK of the approved vendor who is currently performing the Operations and Maintenance for the airport’s baggage handling system, and/or passenger boarding bridges.

Time frame would be within the last 6 years (2013-2019).

If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me of the cost.  Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Ms. Praisler:

Thank you for the recent call.  As discussed, there are no responsive records because the Port operates and maintains its passenger boarding bridges and most baggage handling systems in-house without any third party contracts; the remaining baggage handling system is operated and maintained directly by an airline tenant.  Thank you again for your request.

 

Request for Cure & Correction: We hope this response is satisfactory to you.  If you believe the Port has failed to comply with the Public Records Act, you may submit a written Request for Cure and Correction to the Secretary of the Board.  This Request must be filed within 90 days of the alleged noncompliance.  The Office of the Port Attorney will investigate all Requests and respond within 30 days.  For further information, please refer to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section on the Port's Public Records webpage.
